• The main draw is set

    ATP challenger tournament RC Hotel Open clashes were set up on Saturday at the official draw, including crowd favourite and number 2 seed Dustin Brown set to face Swedish wild card and Davis Cup player Isak Arvidsson. Fellow Swedes also has tough opponents waiting in the first round. Swedish number one player, Elias Ymer, will battle Aleksandr Nedovyesov from Kazakhstan. The Kazakh is part of the Davis Cup team that holds a 2-1 lead against Serbia in Belgrade. On friday he faced the world number one player, Novak Djokovic, and lost in the singles. On Saturday he teamed up with Andrey Golubev, another RC Hotel Open main draw player next week, to beat Djokovic/Zimonjic in strait sets.

    For home players the draw has to be tough with a line up like this. Most players in the main draw are ranked top 200 in the world. Swedish number two singles player during this week Davis Cup play in Russia, Daniel Windahl, will face Jurgen Zopp. The Estonian number one is a former top 100 player has done well in Jonkoping before, reaching the final in a future tournament in 2014. Markus Eriksson will challenge number three seed Jan-Lennart Struff from Germany in his opening match.
